Seasons constantly change. Our kiddos are ending the school year and entering into summer break. There are graduations, new jobs, people moving into new homes, summer weddings and so many changes happening all of the time! Every one of these things are GOOD things! We get excited about starting the next chapter of our lives and we think about the good things from the season we’re ending.
It’s easy to celebrate and be thankful during these times, but what about the seasons that are hard? Do you find yourself in a season that you don’t see an end to today? It can be easy to be so focused on our situations during the hard times, that we fail to remember that He is with us, and that He will use even the hard things in life to show us things about Himself and to grow us.
I was so encouraged by Isaiah 43:16!
“I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea.”
Isaiah 43:16
These difficult seasons are not times to draw away from Jesus, though. Just the opposite! These times are when we need to lean into Him. We can use these opportunities to spend time in fellowship with Him so that we can learn God’s heart. He wants good things for each of us! Be encouraged that in these times, that we are being pressed and refined for good so that God can be glorified. When we look up at Jesus instead of the turbulent seas of our situations, we can see that He is making a path through the wind and the waves. He will always meet us, walk alongside us, and show us the beauty in every season.

Our Prayer for You!
We pray today that you would surrender your fears, worries, and any sin that may hold you to our all powerful, all knowing, trustworthy God! May He flood you with His peace and His presence, and remind you that He is for you, and with you to strengthen you and help you to overcome in the very season you find yourself today!
